Bridge House is a family home providing Bed and Breakfast accommodation on the Cornish side of the Tamar Valley, with beautiful views over the valley, across Dartmoor.

When you arrive, you will be able to start to relax after your journey with our complimentary Cornish scones and clotted cream.                                        

                             

               

As well as a large selection of cooked and cold breakfasts that are included in the B&B price, we are able to offer an extensive evening menu that changes every day. (Because all of our food is prepared to order, from fresh ingredients, we ask you to choose your evening meal in advance) We don't have a drinks licence, but you are welcome to bring your own wine for your meal. Our home-made "Proper Cornish" pasties are made from a traditional family recipe, and will ruin your diet! We're proud to be members of the "Cornish Pasty Association"

                             

            

 

 All of our rooms are fully and comfortably equipped, and stylishly decorated, with a mixture of modern and traditional furniture, and all guests have access to a dining room, and a relaxing lounge with television. The garden is also available, with garden chairs and sunloungers, or for the determinedly active, a small gym is available, though we can't take any responsibility for any damage that you do to yourself if you use it!

Wifi  access is available in every room, and is free to our guests.

We are in a quiet location, just minutes off one of the main tourist routes into Cornwall, and just over the border from Devon. Tavistock and Plymouth are within easy reach, as are many local amenities, including several National Trust properties, such as Cotehele House, shown below . The Eden Project is only an hour's drive away.                       

 

                                         

 

 

We're an ideal short stop-over on your way further "Down Cornwall", or you might choose to stay longer and use us as a base for exploring the beautiful Counties of Devon and Cornwall.

From Bridge House there are several picturesque walks, and beaches are within easy driving distance to the North, and the South.

     

 

However long your stay, Margaret and Myles Singleton will do their best to make sure that you enjoy your visit.
